How to create a Custom Disruption Message in WordPress using an Options page and ACF (True/False)

Category: WordPress Tutorials

In this video I will show you how to create a website disruption message which can be turned on and off in the WordPress dashboard. So if your website or business has technical issues or if your services are not running as normal due to COVID19. Simply, display a message on your website to let your customers and website visitors know!

I create this using WordPress, a plugin called ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and by mainly using the ‘True/False’ field type with conditional logic, but I also do use a text area for the message using the Wysiwyg Editor.

All code snippets found in this tutorial can be found on my Blog post here: https://nathe.co.uk/how-to-create-a-custom-disruption-message-in-wordpress/
